  1. The pear-shaped body is bigger on bottom than it is on top. Pears have wide hips, narrow shoulders and a smaller bust.
  2. If your pear-shaped heart is set on a two-piece swimsuit, opt for one that draws the attention upward. A top with ruffles, bright colors, a pattern or a tie front will do the trick. Wear it with a more subdued, darker bottom. Avoid horizontal stripes or any other kind of pattern on the bottom.
