What Are Your Goals For 2012?

As 2011 makes it’s steady and swift exit, I’m taking time to reflect on how blessed I’ve been and what I can do to be better for next year. When it comes to life all we can do is take it one moment at a time and build our foundations and dreams brick by brick. When you try to do too many things at once something is bound to suffer, there is nothing wrong with multi-tasking but always practice moderation.

Your Life After 25 has been blessed daily by thousands of readers and supporters. I’m happy that I can be a part of that and that you all are helping me execute one of my goals and dreams. One of my goals for 2011 was to continue to make this site a hub of information and inspiration. I’m happy that I’ve been able to do that with all your support and feedback but the work doesn’t stop here. In 2012 this is a continuous goal; I would like to inspire more people, give more great information that can promote positive change and growth, and overall make this site an even better place for you all to visit and share with friends.

I recently watched CNN’s Black In America special about Entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley and I was inspired even more to keep on going with my passion for helping others. Something I took from the shows was that we all need to practice better social responsibility.

In 2012 I plan to do more volunteering at shelters and I want to be able to bring you all a long for the journey. Each year I just want to be a better version of the woman I was the year before after all I am a work in progress.

So once again I will leave you all with a few words from William Shakespeare…

“All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players:
They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts,…”

Remember we all must play our part… no part too small and no part too big. When we all work together, in the end you get a beautiful play. “Choose Your Life”- Da Vinci
