Dancing With The Starts Season 14- Classical Night

Classical singer Katherine Jenkins & Mark Ballas start out the night with a Rumba to Canon in D, I thought it would be tougher to dance the Rumba to classical music but this song is GREAT, it’s artistic! VERY GOOD start of the night. 27/30

Melissa Gilbert & Maks Chmerkovskiy follow up next and dance the Argentine Tango, I would say the dance was full of a lot of good theatrics but she wasn’t as smooth as I I would have liked in transitions. Maks definitely stepped up that choreography though. 21/30

William Levy & Cheryl Burke do a Viennese Waltz, to the musical stylings of the operatic prodigy Jackie Evancho, the music gave me chills but the dancing only complimented how beautiful the music is… I would say this is one of my fave dances from them! 27/30

Roshon Fegan & Chelsie Hightower dance an Argentine Tango, to a classic rendition of Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance, they did EXCELLENT tonight!!! the dance was clean, strong, and Roshon is showing growth. 25/30

Donald Driver and Peta are up with a Viennese Waltz, Donald is always so light on his feet… he looked like he had such a great time dancing to that. It was intense, theatrical, and had so much poise. 27/30

Maria Menunous & Derek Hough are up with a Paso Doble, Wow!!! Maria & Derek, definitely one of the best dances so far tonight! The vampire storyline was captivating. Their song of choice Montagues and Capulets was so appropriate for their romantic battle. 30/30

Jaleel White & Kym Johnson finish the night out with a Viennese Waltz, another good dance from them, I think it needed to be cleaner…it was light an airy and the storyline was pretty to watch. 24/30

Time for the Team dance off!!!

Katherine & Mark, Maria & Derek, Jaleel & Kym, and Roshon & Chelsie-

Team Tango– goes first and all I can say is AH-MAY-ZING!!! Roshon was a breakout star! 27/30

William & Cheryl, Donald & Peta and Melissa & Maks- Team Paso Doble- their routine made me hold my breath the whole time!!! It was Awesome 26/30
