The Avengers Movie Review- By Da Vinci And Enter To Win Our Favorite Avenger Sweep!
Like many of you I grew up with Marvel comics featuring Captain America, Thor, The Hulk and more. This feeling of nostalgia is what has driven so many of us to flock to the theater in anticipation of such movies like the Iron Man series, Thor and the latest adventure “The Avengers”.
I had HIGH hopes for this movie and I am so excited to say that I was NOT disappointed. Let’s face it, in the end we KNOW the good guys are going to win but it’s the journey, battle, and flair that makes it all worth while. With such big names as Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson and more it’s a treat to see how all these characters come together and vibe on the big screen.
I was pleased to see the story line wasn’t some clichè we’re all one big family thing to start with and that we were able to see growth from each of the characters. In true fashion just as a comic series takes strategic planning, you’re able to see how Marvel has been planning with each separate character’s movie series to right now, and how the mysterious cube, also known as the Tesseract, FINALLY comes into play.
In past movies The Hulk has always been forgettable but I was happy to see he played a memorable role in this movie and leaves you wanting more. Although Captain America has his limitations it was nice to see how he was adjusting to life in the future and have him take on the role as captain. Black Widow, Thor & of course my FAVE Iron Man were as awesome as always… and of course we were able to see a little action from Hawkeye.
Overall I can’t WAIT to see the next Avenger movie and I’m definitely looking forward to Iron Man 3, which I heard they’ve just started shooting. Whether you’re a comic aficionado, movie buff, action lover or just plain nerd you’ll definitely want to ASSEMBLE with some friends and catch this flick!
