How To Make Four Seasons Pizza

Preparation Time:
20 minutes
Cooking Time:
20 minutes
Total Time:
40 minutes
Oven Temperature:
225° c – 440° f

Step 1: You will need

  • 1 recipe pizza dough
  • 75 g Parma ham
  • 180 g mozzarella, cubed
  • 75 g mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 8 black olives, pitted
  • 1 tbsp capers
  • 6 anchovy fillets
  • 10 basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • flour for dusting
  • some olive oil
  • half a recipe of Videojug’s pizza tomato sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 rolling pin
  • 1 circular baking tray
  • 1 tablespoon

Step 2: Preheat the oven

Set the temperature of the oven to 225ºC (gas mark 7.5)

Step 3: Roll the dough

Sprinkle some flour onto your work surface and place your dough in the centre. Sprinkle some more flour over the dough and roll well on both sides. Dust the circular baking tray with flour to stop the dough sticking. Using the heel of your hand push the dough outwards, forming a rustic circle.

Step 4: Make the pizza

Spread the tomato sauce over the pizza base and scatter the Parma ham, mushrooms, capers, mozzarella, black olives, basil leaves and anchovy fillets. Season with salt and pepper and finish by drizzling over some olive oil.

Step 5: Bake

Place into the centre of the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.

Step 6: Serve

Once baked remove the pizza from the oven and ease it out of the baking tray. Drizzle over some olive oil, cut into large triangular slices, garnish with a little greenery and serve.
