How To Make Mozzarella Stuffed Veal Patties

Step 1: You will need
- 400 g minced veal, or pork
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp oregano, chopped
- 4 tbsp parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp pine nuts, chopped
- 2 slices white bread, crusts removed
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 mozzarella balls
- salt and pepper
- for the sauce
- 2 tbsp black olives
- 4 anchovy fillets
- 4 basil leaves
- 60 ml olive oil
- 1/2 lemon – juice only
- 2 cloves of garlic, finelly chopped
- 1 grill
- 1 bowl
- 1 bowl of water
- 1 spoon
- 2 trays
- 1 blender
- 1 pair of tongs
- 1 metal spatula
- 1 brush
Step 2: Tip
Turn on the grill. If its gas, do so 20-30 minutes before you begin cooking and if it is charcoal, then about 45 minutes ahead.
Step 3: Make the veal mixture
Soak the bread in a bowl of water, then squeeze it out and put into another bowl. Add the veal, onion, garlic, pine nuts, oregano and parsley and season with salt and pepper. Mix together well.
Step 4: Make the patties
Roll the mixture into 8 balls, then insert a mozzarella ball into each meat ball and seal with a little of the mixture to finish.
Step 5: Make the sauce
Into a blender put the olives, anchovy fillets, basil, olive oil and lemon juice. Blend well until the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Step 6: Grill the patties
Before grilling, brush the patties with a little oil on both sides, and then place on the grill. Give them about 5-6 minutes on each side.
Step 7: Present and serve
Place some patties on a plate and dress with the sauce. Add a few oregano leaves to serve.
