A Butterscotch Bread Pudding Recipe JUST in time for Thanksgiving!
This post brought to you by Wonder bread. All opinions are 100% mine.
Thanksgiving is right around the corner and I’m sure you’re planning your holiday menus and meals. My family is really big on the holidays, I remember growing up and my mother going through cookbook upon cookbook looking for the perfect recipes for a Thanksgiving extravaganza. In a household with 3 girls she was very adamant that we all know how to cook, so we would all help in preparing the meal, sharing stories, and listening to holiday music to keep us going.
As part of my contribution to your holiday meals, I wanted to show you how to make a Butterscotch Bread Pudding. Being an English girl, I’ve seen and tasted many renditions of bread pudding but I wanted to make a more kid friendly treat that you can serve ala mode! With the recent news of the iconic brand @WonderBread going out of business, I thought this would be a fitting way to pay tribute.
Over the weekend, I set out of my journey to find Wonder Bread in the stores. And a journey it was, lol. I had to go to numerous stores to find any still left in stock. But I was happy to accomplish my mission and was able to pick up 2 loaves of Wonder Bread Classic White. After being in business for 90 years it’s sad to see them go, but you can still follow Wonder bread on Facebook and share any memories you’ve had with the brand there.
