Think Like A Man Too: Movie Review
So… Think Like A Man 2 continues a few years after the original Think Like A Man, which was based on Steve Harvey’s best selling book “Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man“. If you didn’t get a chance to see the first one, I recommend watching it first so you’ll be familiar with the characters, you can check out our review here.
Now that we have that out the way, this sequel continues to give us all that eye candy we love. But now everyone is in Vegas for Candace and Michael’s wedding, however, to get things started right the girls will be having their bachelorette party while the guys are having their bachelor party and as we all know “What Happens In Vegas, Stays In Vegas” LOL. For me this movie was just a great extension of the first, sometimes when you watch a movie you’re left wondering what happens next for the characters. I appreciated being able to see that Maya and Zeke are doing really well, even though Zeke’s past keeps catching up with him. At this time Dominic and Lauren are solid in their relationship, but we do get to see them confronted with individual challenges. Jeremy and Kristen are FINALLY married, and of course now it’s time for that “next step… which opens a new can of worms. Tish and Bennett the lovable, long time married couple are getting a break from the kids and might even get a chance to shake things up a bit. And then last but not least Cedric, played by Kevin Hart, is in the process of getting another divorce… from Gayle or Gaylezilla as he so loving named her lol. It was also nice to see the brief cameo by producer Will Packer, also known for Ride Along, About Last Night, Stomp The Yard and more!
Overall it’s a great date night movie or something to see with “BAE” lol… it gets a bit cheesy and drawn out at certain points but it’s still work the watch. And with the gang in Vegas ANYTHING can happen! Be sure to check it out in a theater near you. :). Buy Think Like a Man Too Tickets now!
