When it comes to my hair, the less time I can spend on it, the better. It seems, though, that the time I spend on it is continuously getting longer and longer. I’m pretty obsessed with coloring it – in the last year it’s been almost black, red, purple, chocolate brown with ombre, and chocolate brown with blonde streaks – so that causes me more maintenance. I’ve tried various different products to maintain my scalp and hair health, since that is especially important when you color often, and while some are ok, one has stood above the rest recently – CLEAR SCALP & HAIR™.
CLEAR SCALP & HAIR™ is a line of shampoos and conditioners that was launched in 2012 and encourages women to focus on nourishing their scalp, where the majority of hair’s natural strength and beauty comes from. CLEAR SCALP & HAIR™ Intense Hydration Nourishing Shampoo and Nourishing Daily Conditioner are infused with cactus extract, which is a hydrator. They are also formulated with Nutrium 10™, which includes vitamins B5, C & E, sunflower, almond, soybean & coconut oils, glycerin & aloe vera.
I was super excited to try CLEAR SCALP & HAIR™ because I’ve been searching for something to hydrate my hair and scalp for awhile (and I’ve spent a small fortune trying different products). To my surprise, CLEAR SCALP & HAIR™ has been the best thing I’ve tried in the last year on my search for something great. My hair is silky and soft and much easier to manage. I do have significant damage to my ends (and I am LONG overdue for a trim), and it is barely noticeable after using CLEAR SCALP & HAIR™. Above is a before washing with CLEAR SCALP & HAIR™ photo (please excuse the horrible lighting and quality, I probably should have used flash in the bathroom, but you get the idea!) and after washing and styling photo.
I’m pretty impressed with how well CLEAR SCALP & HAIR™ works, and am definitely planning to continue using it to see how much more it can do for my hair and scalp. What’s even more impressive to me is the price – the line is available at Walmart.com and Walgreens.com for MRSP $4.99 – $5.99. That is – and I kid you not – 1/6 of the price of ONE of the products I’ve tried in the last year. Yep, I’m a fan.
