A Quick and Easy Recipe For Meal Time Success: Cilantro Teriyaki Rice with Clams

One of my go to recipes is a Cilantro Teriyaki Rice, you can make it with shrimp or your choice of quick seafood or even chicken but this time I made it with clams. And with the help of Success® Rice, which only takes 10 minute to boil, I was able to enjoy a delicious meal with a glass of wine in under 20 minutes.

Cilantro Teriyaki Rice with Clams
Ingredients:
1 can of clams
Teriyaki Sauce
Half an onion sliced or diced
Half a bundle of cilantro
1 T of oil
1tsp of Red Pepper
1 T of brown sugar
Salt and Black Pepper
Step 1:
Pour oil in skillet or wok and then add sliced onions. Fry for about 2-3 minuted and then add in drained canned clams. Add seasoned salt or just regular salt and black pepper to taste. After about 2-3 more minutes and in your cilantro. Keep stirring so nothing burns.
Step 2:
After pour in Teriyaki sauce, you can add as much or as little as you like. Depends on how saucy you want your rice. Add in your ground red pepper for spice, optional if you can’t take the heat lol. And then add your brown sugar and let the flavors come together. Another optional addition is ginger if you have it. After about 5 minutes let it sit, away from heat and now you can make your rice.
Step 3:
Grab your Success® Jasmine Rice and just follow the directions on the side of the box, stovetop or microwave.
Step 4: Scoop Cilantro Teriyaki Clam mix over your rice and ENJOY! I like to have it with wine, but you can enjoy it with whatever you like lol.
