Show Your Mom and Mothers Love How Much You Care With The Gift of Flowers!

Our mothers deserve honor and respect for simply being the vessel that brought us into this world. In all honesty, if you have a great mother one day out of the year isn’t really enough to spoil her but it’s wonderful that the world has set aside a day for us to do just that. Growing up my mother wasn’t really a sentimental type, so she didn’t really do hugs, kisses or most flowers… she wasn’t really overly sentimental. For me it was hard to understand because I was the hugging and sentimental type lol. I think it’s important to remember that our mothers are human, so as I’ve grown into the woman I am today I’ve learned a lot about the woman my mother is and what has made her who she is. I remember taking the 5 love languages quiz awhile back and realizing that my mother and I just had a different love language, once that clicked I was able to try and love her in the way she understood. Check out this pic below of my mother or mummy (I’m english lol), she’s super fly. It’s an older pic but it’s one of my favorites ones of her lol… you just know she was too cool for school.
My life wasn’t always easy growing up but I learned a lot of strength from my mother, she was a major influence in showing me that entrepreneurship as a woman was an option. I was able to learn as much of my cultural influence from her as I could and even today I’m still learning life’s lessons from her. While she wasn’t big on coddling me, I reapplied the strength I learned from that to life. I believe in telling and showing the people that we love that we care anytime we can. This mother’s day I will definitely be sending her a bouquet from 1800Flowers.com, but it’s important that I show her year round that I’m there for her. For me that includes just calling on a regular basis to check up on her and asking her if there is anything she needs. At the moment, I know my mother is antsy and waiting for me to get married… she’s got grandma fever LOL. While, I can’t give her the gift of grand children yet, I look forward to being able to do so sooner than later.
As Mother’s Day approaches, I try to make it a point to show love to all the mothers in my life that I’m close to. From my sisters to best of friends, those woman and their motherhood inspires me greatly.
