Hollywood Studios Tour

Of course, you’ll want to do something Hollywood related.  Many tourists head toward Universal Studios for this reason.  Plus, the fact that the studio has been providing tours since 1915 means that the experience is a proven success.  Currently narrated by a recognizable personality, Jimmy Fallon, the tour brings guests through the backlot of a studio before engaging in the world’s largest 3D experience, King Kong 360 3D.

Wolfgang Puck Restaurant

It’s difficult to spot the stars walking along the boulevards yet everyone has got to eat.  If your plan is to spot your favorite actor or actress in a restaurant, a Wolfgang Puck restaurant is a good selection.  Aside from the possibility of seeing a familiar face from your favorite television show or movie, Wolfgang’s restaurants are always guaranteed to please even the most selective of palates.

Santa Monica Pier

Of course, you must get to the beach when visiting LA.  Malibu and Santa Monica are two go-to places for those who want to get a taste of Pacific Coast shores.  However, Malibu is more residential and does not have the pier that Santa Monica can offer.  On the pier, you’ll find spots to eat, take in sites, wait in line to ride the world’s only solar powered ferris wheel.

Los Angeles Dodgers

The Los Angeles area offers a ton of opportunities for those who love sports.  Whether it’s basketball, baseball, hockey, or football, there is a local team to follow.  If baseball is your sport of choice, get your hands on LA Dodgers tickets.  Dodgers stadium opened its gates in 1962 and has seen eight World Series!

Rodeo Drive

Shoppers from all over the world know about Rodeo Drive.  Regardless of what you are looking for: shoes, designer dresses, LA gear, etc, you can find it on Rodeo Drive.  Aside from high-end retailers and boutiques, you can stroll around the immediate area to gain access to local style and aspiring designers.

Runyon Canyon

If you are in the mood to take a break from the Hollywood lights and downtown area, you can explore Runyon Canyon, which is adjacent to Hollywood Boulevard.  Bring your dog and family to the 90-acre park.  Settle down for a picnic, hike a variety of trails, and get the LA sun on your face.

Sunset Strip

‘The Strip’ has been world renowned for decades, dating back to the early Hollywood era.  It’s in the western part of the city, which is filled with a mixture of stars, locals, and tourists.  Depending on the venue you choose to enter, you’ll get a mixture of local flair or traditional tourist entertainment.
