Movie Review: It Comes At Night

When I had the opportunity to screen It Comes At Night I knew I wanted to go into this with a completely open mind. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I knew it was a scary movie so I braced myself. It Comes At Night tells the story of a family that lives in a desolate home as an unnatural threat terrorizes the world. We get to see what measures they take to keep their nom secure. The family is put to the ultimate test with the arrival of a desperate young family seeking refuge.

I’m conflicted because while I can’t say the movie was bad at all, I did leave feeling somewhat unsatisfied. It was a very interesting film, not as scary as I thought it would be but definitely a thriller. I think if you’re a fan of Blair Witch styled movies then you’ll enjoy It Comes At Night.
