I don’t know what it is but I’m a sucker for medical shows that have comedy, romance and intrigue. The Night Shift is another show to add to your list if you haven’t already been watching. The night shift team of doctors and nurses at San Antonio Memorial’s emergency room are anything but ordinary. From a life in Syria to the lives of characters back in Texas, the show covers many personal dilemmas. With 3 seasons under it’s belt, The Night Shift is definitely doing something right. The Night Shift is produced by Sony Pictures Television. Gabe Sachs and Jeff Judah of Freaks and Geeks and Diary of a Wimpy Kid, are executive producers and writers. With talent like that it’s no wonder the show is going into another season. Season 4 premiered on June 22. However, it’s not too late to get caught up on all the seasons and then #JoinTheNightShift Thursday Nights.
Season 3 ended in a way that left us all on the edge of our seats. There are so many loose ends that need to be tackled, lots to look forward to. As a military family member, I love how much The Night Shift covers Veteran’s Affairs and military medicine. Every episode this season will have a story about a veteran. In fact, on August 10th they will be doing an “all veterans” episode. So if you have any loved ones who are serving or have served, you may want to mark you calendars and check it out. My Stepdad is the Military hero in my life, I appreciate everything that he has done for our country and I’m super proud of him.
