SMALLFOOT Movie Review
Last week I had the pleasure of screening SMALLFOOT, when I saw the previews it was a movie I really wanted to check out. The screening was hosted by Ludacris Foundation and had some fabulous celebrity guests in attendance. But the best part was how much Ludcris’ foundation is giving back and seeing all the children they’d invited get excited about the film.
SMALLFOOT is a movie that puts a fun spin on the legends of Bigfoot and yetis. We get to see things from a Yeti’s perspective and what it’s like to have the shoe on the other foot ;). If you haven’t seen the trailer, check it out below.
SMALLFOOT Trailer
SMALLFOOT has a star studded cast; LeBron James, Gina Rodriguez, Channing Tatum, Danny DeVito James Corden, Common, Yara Shahidi, Zendaya and more. I have to say that when I went to watch it, I thought it would be a carefree kids movie. While SMALLFOOT is a good kids movie, it tackles a lot of deep topics. It’s not surprising why some of the cast chose to be a part of this film.
The movie covers themes that challenge your way of thinking, there were many parts that I had to stop and think for a bit. From always telling the truth to how to handle diversity, SMALLFOOT takes it there.
SMALLFOOT is a great movie to see as a family. Parents should be prepared for any questions the film make provoke. In fact, I think anyone will walk away from the movie feeling inspired and the need to watch it again. There are some parts that I think may be slower for younger kids, but it’s also funny enough to recapture there attention. SMALLFOOT isn’t just your run of the mill feel good cartoon, it’s definitely worth the watch.
Your Life After 25 gives SMALLFOOT 7.5/10
