Steer Away from Conflict
Conflict will almost certainly take its toll on your physical and your mental health. Conflict amongst co-workers can be very difficult to escape from so it’s a good idea for you to avoid it altogether. Don’t engage in gossip, share personal opinions about those around you or join in with office politics. If you know that you don’t work well with someone then try and avoid them where you can. If you find that conflict finds you anyway then you need to learn how to deal with it properly.
It doesn’t matter whether you are a naturally disorganised person or not because if you plan ahead, then this will really decrease the amount of stress that you experience at work. If you know that you have a ton of emails to deal with then try and make sure that you spend an hour or so in the morning replying to them. Another surprising stress-factor at work is being physically uncomfortable. It may be that the environment you are working in is too loud or even that your chair is not at the right height.
