The Pregnant Entrepreneur- Book Review By Da Vinci

Being a woman in this day and age can be quite a superwoman’s endeavor. Not only do we take care of husbands, the children and the home… so many women today have become the breadwinner’s or a huge part of the financial relief in their households. As an ambitious woman looking to get married and take on that future juggling act, I’ve thought about those looming questions “Will I HAVE To Choose?” and “Can I REALLY Have It All?”
In asking myself those questions, I was very excited to come across Darla DeMorrow’s “The Pregnant Entrepreneur”. So many women today feel like once they have a baby/babies their career path or business life is over right as they know it. Being that I’m not yet a mother, that thought wasn’t too appealing a thought. Although Darla takes the time to give you realistic outlook of what to expect as a business woman who is expecting or ready to start a family, what I love the most is that she emphasizes that it CAN be done.
Darla covers the importance of adapting your lifestyle, financial planning for maternity leave, etc and business/life once your baby arrives, readying your business for the changes, and all the wonderful joys of the pregnancy experience.
All in all, if you’re willing to put in the work you can be that “superwoman” that you want to be and have most of what you want or need. I would recommend The Pregnant Entrepreneur as a good read for women everywhere. Not only is it a great tool for business owners, the same principles can be applied to running your household or women in the conventional workforce. It’s all about getting your family unit to a place that works well for you.
