Da Vinci Checks Out @GlanceiD – The QR Code Of The Future!

Recently I was invited to an event for the launch of a new mobile app called GlanceiD. Now if you’re not living under a rock, you know that apps are the wave of the future and definitely something that we all need to become familiar with, so I was intrigued and wanted to know more about GlanceiD and what it may be able to do for me, my business and my readers. Also, I happen to have a bit of a fascination for QR codes, so I just HAD to see what the difference is.

WHAT IS GLANCEiD?

GlanceiD is a unique take on QR codes that allows you to obtain that info by sharing, searching, scanning and saving at-a-glance. Once you sign up you will be assigned your own GlanceiD. Your GlanceiD is unique and universal. You’ll be able to exchange iD’s with new and old acquaintances by simply scanning their iD’s using your Smartphone, Tablet, etc.

GlanceiD strengthens communities by rewarding users who scan in local communities nationwide. Imagine being able to get rewards, free swag and much more from your favorite store just for scanning their GlanceiD. The possibilities are endless for consumers as well as for businesses.

The GlanceiD App or GlanceiD QR Code Scanner is required to scan official GlanceiDs. Both apps are available on both the iPhone App Store and Android Market.
