Changes In Your Lifestyle After Having A Child
Many do not think of how drastic of a lifestyle change they will have after having a child. Their career, social life and love life have always been top priority. Regardless to getting pregnant accidentally or purposely the baby is coming and there will be change all around. You are not living just to care for yourself any longer, you are living to care for another being as well.

The First to Go
That once carefree lifestyle is not longer an option now that you are a parent. What use to be long night out at a club or some type of party is now filled with early morning cartoons, play dates and dirty diapers. Keeping up with a child is a lot of work and your social life definitely sees a huge hit. It’s not as easy to just pick up and go, now you have a little only to bring with you.
This doesn’t mean that your social life is gone all together. It just means that it will now involve your child and kid friendly activities.
Now don’t go making your life 24-7 kid only, it is important for adult time and to keep apart of yourself so make sure to get out once and awhile and enjoy your “free timeâ€.
Holding On To Your Love Life
It is extremely important to hold onto your love life. However it is not going to be what it once was. Sleepless nights result in lack of energy and stamina. Your time is so consumed by your little one that many let their love lives dwindle. Just as with your social life it is important to make time to keep your love life fresh. In time as your child gets older, your suppose and you get a hang of things you will notice your love life picking back up.
Hello Career
Your career is something that once defined you. Now being a Mommy or Daddy is who you are. Not that your career is not important, it is what put a roof over your head, clothes on your back and food on your table. However those long nights at the office or working overtime for extra spending cash seem less appealing then time at home with your family. It is important to keep your career but not to let it be the only thing that defines you. Your child is only a child for so long, spending all your time devoted to your career and you could miss out on just how amazing they are throughout their childhood.
Sleeping and Eating, Who Needs That?
In the beginning with any child you are going to have lack of sleep. Sleep deprivation may even set in. Don’t worry, in time things will get better your mind and body will adapt to these irregular sleep patterns. In the meantime don’t say no to help and take turns with your partner so that you have some restful nights on the in between.
As far as eating make sure you do it when you can. With a little one in the house you will notice any time you are ready to enjoy a meal chaos will arise or they will need something. Don’t let yourself starve, take care of yourself too but don’t get your hopes up on enjoying a warm meal any time soon.
The Best Change Ever…
Change is scary but this is the best change that will ever happen to you. Getting the opportunity to be a parent is amazing. You have created a new life and are now raising a little person to become something truly amazing in this world. While yes your world will never be the same I highly doubt that you will look back, you will only look forward to your life with this amazing life you have created. This is a lifestyle change for the better.
