Your Life After 25 Attends The 2013 BB&T Atlanta Open! Tennis With A View :)

Da Vinci and Dante hanging out in the Stadium getting ready for the evening matches

Last year I had the pleasure of attending the 2012 BB&T Atlanta open and this year Dante and I were fortunate to enough to be invited back again by Atlantic Station to enjoy a few matches. I’ve grown up around a lot of sports and always enjoy taking in a live game when I can, and as a Brit… I was just as excited as any other about us FINALLY winning Wimbledon. Anyway back to the 2013 BB&T Atlanta Open, which takes place from July 20th t0 28th, 2013 so there is still time to purchase tickets here :), there are 3 courts; the AJC Grandstand court, the Stadium seen in the image above and a 3rd lower court. The great part is each court has been built utilizing the Atlanta city scape behind, so you get to enjoy your match with a great view.

A Look At The Stadium Before The Games

Dante and I had the chance to take in some shopping, lunch and enjoy the different family attractions from the Family Zone to Radio Disney having a booth there. Atlantic Station is one of my favorite places to hangout anyway, but I always love seeing how the space is transformed to accommodate the BB&T Atlanta Open festivities.

We got a chance to see matches: Yen-Hsun Lu vs. Kevin King, Lleyton Hewitt vs. Edouard Roger-Vasselin, Dodig/Melo vs. Christian and Ryan Harrison, Mardy Fish and Michael Russel… sadly due to the rain delay we missed Blake vs. Smyczek.
