A number of studies found similar findings in the test subjects given raspberry ketones compared to the control group. This particular study found that using a raspberry ketone supplement “prevents and improves obesity and fatty liver.”

The way raspberry ketone supplements work is they affect the body’s production of a hormone called adiponectin. This hormone plays an integral role in the body’s ability to boost its metabolism as well as release stored fat. In short, this hormone can be used to trick a person’s body into thinking it’s already thin. Additionally, raspberry ketones also helps the body with the process of lipolysis, which is the body’s ability to breakdown fat cells. Raspberry ketones can also promote the process of thermogenesis, which is when your body turns stored fat into energy.
