Warrior Class Review by Da Vinci #WarriorClassATL
Theatre is something I respect in great depth, as I get to see each new piece of work it I fall more in love with beautiful dialog because watching the stage in real-time is so raw. When I watched Warrior Class on the Hertz Stage at the Alliance Theatre, I fell in love with the dialog and the simplicity of it’s naked truth and exposed art.

Warrior Class takes us on a journey of political intrigue where the masks come off and we get to see a glimpse of what it takes to make it in Washington. We experience a snippet of the rise to the top for a young Chinese politician, whose story has an Obama-like parallel. Playwright Kenneth Lin has written a piece where the dialog needs no fluff and the impeccable acting is the icing on the cake. This play doesn’t include a lot of over the top staging, props, production but the characters are able to make you feel and believe their stories and help paint the picture of where they are.

If you’re a “Scandal” tv show fan or lover of politics this play is right up your alley, and still, even if you’re just a lover of art in it’s purest form you’re sure to have an appreciation for what Warrior Class brings to the table.

I was truly inspired and touched by the piece, I would recommend going for a date night or even a group of friends… either way it’s sure to spark up some thought provoking conversations.
Your Life After 25 gives Warrior Class a 10/10
