Thor: The Dark World – Movie Review #Marvel #ThorDarkWorld
Marvel is back with another amazing installment of our favorite super hero movies. Thor: The Dark World continues after Marvel’s The Avengers have saved New York and now Thor has returned to Asgard to keep peace among the Nine Realms… of course we know that can’t last too long, lol. As Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos… an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness.
As far as character’s go Thor, played by sexy actor Chris Hemsworth, definitely knows how to make ladies drool and show guys who rules. We finally get to see him reunited with the sassy Dr. Jane Foster, played by actress Natalie Portman.
I love that Jane was a lot more feisty in this movie and she definitely needed it too, because there was a hot new warrior in town who has eyes for her man. Sif, Jaimie Alexander, plays her role as a fighter but I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how her role develops in future movies. We also get to see what happens to Loki as he returns to Asgard a prisoner… as usual he doesn’t disappoint with his cheeky antics and banter.
In comparison to the first Thor movie, I’d say I liked movie 1 better…. however, the second installment of these movies is usually a building movie. I think that after The Avengers and Iron Man 3, it’s a bit of a tough act to follow, but I will say Marvel is definitely ramping up for some EPIC new movies; Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Avengers: Age of Ultron, and much more! I definitely recommend checking out Thor: The Dark World. *Don’t forget to stay through ALL the credits, because in true Marvel fashion there are extra scenes.*
