A Christmas Carol – Review by Da Vinci #ScroogeATL #Atlanta

I was so fortunate to be able to see one of Atlanta’s holiday treasures performed, A Christmas Carol. Atlanta favorite, actor Chris Kayser, has played the role of Scrooge for 16 of his last 20 seasons in the production. I was truly blessed to be able to see him because he has announced he will retire from the role after this year.

We’ve all heard and see a version of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, but being able to see it on the live stage is a whole new experience and the perfect way to get you into the holiday spirit. Afterwards I was singing carols on my way home and filled with a sense of joy. The set was immaculate, the singing was amazing, and it was clear to see why people keep coming back to watch it with their families year after year.

I also had the pleasure of meeting one of the show’s stars, Ivy Catherine Rogers, who plays Belinda Cratchit. She was so delightful and shared her story of how this role/experience is a bit of a family tradition.
