Dressing down is not dressing wrong, let me emphasise that. In fact, when I dress down, I feel comfy and light, and more able to walk the streets worry-free. And dressing down the right way proves to be easy as you only need three pieces of clothing I’m sure you have plenty in your closet, stuck somewhere beneath the stack of dresses, fur coats, boots, and heels. I’m talking about the all-time best street clothing you can never go wrong with.

Who can survive without jeans? They are a life saver. When you get so lost in thought, not being able to decide what to wear to work or to a party, a pair of jeans can come to your rescue and get you all pumped up. They can live through different settings and occasions—from normal office days to heavy outdoor trips. With their high versatility, they never go out of date.
A pair of jeans, no matter how plain, can be modified easily to bring more excitement. You can add glitters and sew patches on them. To achieve a cool, rugged, hippie look, get a pair of jeans that fit you well and create tatters on it. There are a lot of how-to guides you can find in the Internet to help you create your own tattered jeans. You can dye them in your favourite colour or paint them with whatever design you feel like putting. Even for formal events, feel free to wear jeans, just pair them with extravagant tops.

Shirts go well with jeans. Like jeans, shirts are very much versatile too. They are an all-around fashion garment you certainly can’t go wrong with. And if you love the feel of the sidewalk and are used to walking the city streets, you’ll be much better off with a cool shirt as your usual top.
With a simple white shirt, you can go a long way—colour, tear, cut, paint, dye, sew, clip or tatter it. Feel free to do anything with it, but make sure it’s still wearable. Modify it the right way, unless you want to look too uncanny to actually get noticed. You can layer a plain shirt with a jacket, vest, or put another shirt over it. With shirts, it’s practically easy to look cool and chic without straining your wallets. How convenient is that?

They say shoes are boring, so wear sneakers. I totally agree, and I salute whoever first thought of this statement. Well, their name alone speaks for their nature. They are that comfy that they let you “sneak†for hours without wearing out your feet easily. Sneakers are just great for walking. Wearing them is like wearing the words “cool†and “swag†all over you. And to think, they’re just shoes for the feet. Oh wait, they’re not shoes. They’re sneakers!
