Movie Review: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #TMNTMovie

Okay so I’m going to start off by saying that when I saw the first trailer for this movie I was NOT happy, lol… I don’t know what it was but I felt like one of my childhood favorites were about to be destroyed. After watching this, I owe my beloved Turtles and Nickolodean a huge apology, lol.

This Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is something you can watch with the whole family, a bunch of friends or even enjoy for date night if that your thing. I know many parents might wonder if it’s truly child friendly, here’s the skinny… #1. I believe there was only one cuss word the whole movie, #2. the movie does have a few parts that are subtitled so if you have a child who can’t read they may miss out on those parts of the plot and last but not least the movie is hilarious but some of the jokes do have an adult context… however, it’s not too bad.
Watch the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles get down, LOL
For adult fans who grew up on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, this is an exciting trip down memory lane and is sure to take you into a trance of nostalgia. I found myself waiting for signature lines like “Cowabunga” or just excited to see the turtles eat pizza, lol. Overall it was an very funny movie with a decent plot, my ONLY gripe was Megan Fox does bit too much in her acting style but if you’ve seen her in other films… this is to be expected.
Your Life After 25 gives the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 9.5/10
