Thanks to XFINITY for sponsoring this post and allowing me to share my love of sports and how I use my X1 Sports App wit you all. All opinions are my own.
I have to say this time of year is one of my favorite seasons, not because of Fall lol… but because of NFL Football, College Football and NBA Basketball overlapping. If you’re a sports fan like me, this season is fandom bliss. I mean there’s not a day without a game to watch! Earlier this year I made a discovery on when I moved to the XFINITY X1 platform, the X1: Sports App. I knew I had to share it with you all because I’m surprised how many XFINITY users that haven’t discovered it or heard of it yet. Plus, it’s worth mentioning that Google Fiber doesn’t offer a comparable place for you to see all scores and player stats, while watching another game live.
During the recent Thanksgiving break my X1 Sports App definitely came in handy with all the different family members wanting to watch different things, us sports fans were able to still keep up with the score lol. To me nothing says Thanksgiving like Football, Food And Family! But I digress…
So… What Is The X1: Sports App?
The X1 Sports App is an app on your tv that provides fast and easy access to live games, live scores of all games currently in progress, coverage of games you aren’t watching and upcoming game schedules. It’s all done at the push of a button, The C button. You can even watch TV and access the Sports app at the same time! I definitely love that feature when Scandal is on and Thursday Night Football are going, I can keep up with the score on the side. The cool part is the X1 Sports App has schedules and scores available for NASCAR, MLB, NHL, NBA, NFL and NCAA basketball and football, as well as professional soccer, when in season. This is a great app for you to use while you’re keeping up with you Fantasy sports stats too.
If you’re a Football fan like me, you’ll love the new Football Extras feature from the Sports app where XFINITY has created the ultimate football companion. This includes more data, real-time stats and visualizations, pre-game player and team comparisons, injury reports, fantasy stats and more. Good luck trying to find that on Google Fiber, they definitely can’t help out with setting your lineup for the week!
The way I see it the X1 Sports app is a win for you and your family, if you’re with the wife or kids and want to spend quality time watching their shows with them but still keep up with your scores and stats now you can do BOTH, click the C button on your remote and you’re good to go.
Anything that can keep the peace with your family is a solid investment, lol. Want more tips for how you can enjoy XFINITY with you family? Check out “3 Ways XFINITY Can Help Tech The Halls With Family This Holiday Season At Home or On The Go!”
