Get Two Looks for Your Locks with Conair: Testing Them On My Natural Hair!

We do a lot of hair tips and tricks on the site but it’s funny because people often assume I have relaxed hair. A few years ago we tested the Pro Secret Curl rollers by Conair and while Stefanie did a fantastic job with her before and after, we had a few readers that wanted to know how what products work on “natural hair”.
Of course we aim to please so I was super excited to test the InfinitiPRO by Conair® Curl Secret® on my hair and I even threw in a bonus! So I’ll also be sharing my experience using the InfinitiPRO by Conair Diamond Brilliance Diamond-Infused Ceramic Smoothing Hot Brush.
This year I made a vow not to flat iron my hair as much so I was really excited to hear about the Diamond-Infused Ceramic Smoothing Hot Brush because it looked like a great alternative and like something I can use at home. So I set out to do my normal hair routine, first I started off with a wash and then I towel dried my hair and then made sure to blow dry my hair first and then use The Conair Diamond-Infused Ceramic Smoothing Hot Brush to get my hair straightened. The Diamond-Infused Ceramic Smoothing Hot Brush is a professionally designed hot paddle brush that combines diamond-infused ceramic with advanced ionic technology to transform hair into silky, straight styles. It’s important that your hair is completely dry first. There are different temperature settings for different hair textures. Low 356°F for delicate, thin, or easy to style hair, Medium 375°F for average to thick or treated hair, and High up to 400°F for thick or wavy hair. The diamond-infused ceramic technology adds brilliant healthy looking shine and helps protect hair from heat damage. Below you can see a before and after from my super curly hair to the shiny straightened look I got using The Diamond-Infused Ceramic Smoothing Hot Brush.
Since I wanted to give you a look at how the InfinitiPRO by Conair® Curl Secret® looked on my natural hair, my hair journey wasn’t done after I straightened it. Next, I tested the different settings of the InfinitiPRO by Conair® Curl Secret®. It comes with 2 heat levels and 3 timer settings you can create loose, medium or tight curls. It’s really quite cool to use, the InfinitiPRO by Conair® Curl Secret® gently draws your hair into a curl chamber and surrounds the hair strands in heat without added tension, resulting in a three-dimensional, longer-lasting curl. As you can see below from my before and after pics, the InfinitiPRO by Conair® Curl Secret® works on all hair types, textures, and hair of all ethnicities.
If you take a look above, you can see that we tried the curls from looser to tighter. The 1st curl on the left was done at barely 8 secs, the middle curl was done at 8 secs, and the curl on the right was done at 10 secs.
After trying both products out, I think it’s safe to say they work well on all kinds of hair and would make for a great addition to your haircare toolbox. For me personally, I would use the The InfinitiPRO by Conair Diamond Brilliance Diamond-Infused Ceramic Smoothing Hot Brush in between professional straightening. It’s a great way to keep your tresses in check. And the InfinitiPRO by Conair® Curl Secret® is a great and easy way to get your hair ready for a night out or curled to give it some volume. I made sure to wrap my hair right after so I know it will have the bounce and shine I love!
