I always have an amazing time live tweeting with our readers and fans, many of us love the same shows. One the years we’ve discovered new shows together and had a few pow wows on Twitter lol. I recently just found out about my next guilty pleasure and I thought this would be the perfect time to rank Great Shows That Allow You To Travel Through Time! Check out the list below and learn more about Versailles!
4 Great Shows That Allow You To Travel Through Time!

1. Outlander: Ok, if you’ve been following us, you definitely know this list wouldn’t be complete without Outlander! The show is based on an 8 book series by Diana Gabaldon and literally time travels back and forth between different time periods. The story starts with a British Army nurse post World War II, Claire Randall who is enjoying a second honeymoon in Scotland with husband Frank, an MI6 officer looking forward to a new career as an Oxford historian. Suddenly, Claire is transported to 1743 and into a mysterious world where her freedom and life are threatened. To survive, she marries Jamie Fraser, a delectable Scots warrior with a complicated past and a disarming sense of humor. Trust me it’s a whirlwind that you must experience for yourself.

2. Vikings: I was late on the Vikings train BUT, after watching I was hooked! I even scolded a few followers for keeping this hot little secret lol. Vikings is inspired by the sagas of Viking Ragnar Lothbrok, one of the best-known legendary Norse heroes and notorious as the scourge of England and France. The show tells the story of Ragnar as a farmer who rises in power with successful raids into England, we follow him on his journeys and see that he eventually becomes a Scandinavian king. If you love action, love, and intrigue this is a great show to checkout.

3. Reign: Reign is an American historical fantasy romance television series following the early exploits of Mary, Queen of Scots. The show covers political intrigue, sexual intrigue, and religious conspiracies. It’s definitely not the type of show that you can start in the middle, it’s really in depth and worth a binge lol.

4. The Americans:I haven’t gotten around to watching this show, yet… but I’ve heard a ton of great things about it and knew it had to be on the list. The Americans is about Philip and Elizabeth Jennings are two KGB spies in an arranged marriage who are posing as Americans in suburban Washington, D.C., shortly after Ronald Reagan is elected president. So if you’re into spy plots, political drama and more… this might be the show for you!
And last but not least…
