Hey Atlanta! Time To Show Love To Our Braves and Get On Up at SunTrust Park!
On April 14th, 2017 Atlanta Braves fans everywhere started a new chapter at SunTrust Park. I was fortunate enough to be there on opening day and it was truly and exciting experience. There’s something about knowing you’re a part of history, especially when you’re a sports fan.
I took a tour of SunTrust Park and was truly impressed with all the restaurant options, the recycling bins, and how well thought out everything was. I could tell that this wasn’t just about going to games, SunTrust wanted each visit to be a full onUp Experience.
After checking out different areas in Battery Atlanta I checked out SunTrust’s onUp Experience, many of you know we’ve covered a few onUp posts before so I was curious to see what the experience was all about. I had the honor of capturing the ribbon cutting ceremony and hearing what inspired SunTrust and what goals they had for the experience. I have to say that they really created something memorial that people of all ages could enjoy.
The onUp Experience is an entertainment center that brings financial tools to baseball fans visiting SunTrust Park and the Battery Atlanta. Sounds like an impossible feat, but they really found a way to marry all those things together and make it an awesome experience for people of all ages.
Anyone that visits the onUp Experience can learn about financial confidence and their financial well-being. It’s named after the onUp Movement, which is about people taking steps toward financial confidence so YOU can enjoy life’s moments that matter.
When you enter the onUp Experience you get to create your very own draft card, this card will be used to activate the games and interactive stations. They have everything from trivia and a Photo Booth to a home run game which I really could have played all day lol. My record was 5 home runs in 90 seconds, I can’t wait to go back and beat my score. Also, we had the pleasure of seeing the Honor Roll skate crew perform, those guys are amazing! You may have seen them on some America’s Got Talent, ads and more.

Here’s to a new chapter in Atlanta Braves History! We won our first game at SunTrust Park, I’m hoping that will set the tone from here on out.
