It’s crazy to think that it’s been a long 6 years but Captain Jack is finally back! I can honestly say that I wasn’t sure what to expect. From previews it looked like any other classic Pirates of The Caribbean film, but I had to be sure! I’m happy to say “Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales”  does not disappoint. Johnny Depp never ages and to me he looked younger and better than ever as Jack Sparrow.

Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales delves into the story of Henry Turner, the son of Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley). Henry meets a fiery woman Carina Smyth who has been sentenced to death for witchcraft because of her scientific knowledge of Astronomy and Horology. The two embark on an adventure in search of the  Trident of Poseidon which is said to break all curses of the sea. On the way we get to see old faces we love such as  Captain Barbossa and of course we meet  Captain Salazar who leads the undead sailors.

Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales Trailer

I’m amazed by how well the storylines work together and how we’re able to continue each film without feeling like it’s time to hang the series up. If you’re a fan of the Pirates of The Caribbean films, you won’t be disappointed and if you’re not a fan yet… I think the film will still pull you in.

Pirates of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is a great film for date night, friends or family fun. There’s a bit of innuendo but overall the film isn’t too risqué. I can honestly say it was even better than I thought it would be.
