Isn’t It Romantic: Movie Review
When I first saw the trailers for “Isn’t It Romantic” I wasn’t sure what to think. But it was a “rom com” coming out on Valentine’s Day so I knew I wanted to check it out anyway lol. When it comes to Rebel Wilson, I’m not sure what I’ll get from her as an actress. I like her films and I like her acting, most times. But sometimes it can be overwhelming so I made sure to keep an open mind about “Isn’t It Romantic”.
I’m happy that I did because the film isn’t your typical romantic comedy. “Isn’t It Romantic” offers a few great lessons, parodies of some of your favorite rom coms and lots of laughs. In fact, we even get a chance to sing along to a few of our favorite jams lol.
The film has a pretty star studded cast including Liam Hemsworth (the “Hunger Games” films), Adam Devine (“The Intern,” the “Pitch Perfect” films) and Priyanka Chopra (“Quantico,” “Baywatch”). All in all I think it’s a great feel good movie that you can enjoy with friends or your significant other.
Your Life After 25 gives “Isn’t It Romantic” 8/10
“Isn’t It Romantic” makes for the perfect Galentine’s Day movie too. In fact at the screening I went to the theme was pajama party and it felt like a room full of ladies just having a girl’s night out.
