Much like walking, running is something that’s also free and you can do it really anywhere – again it’s also something that you can do on your way to other places but it’s also good if you take some time for it and it’s not something that you need a lot of time for, for the most part as long as you’re getting at least 20 or 30 minutes of core exercise per day then you will notice the differences in your health and your mental health as well.
The good thing about running is that it provides you with a full body workout, and it’s enjoyable, so you can do a short run in the morning before you go to work or in the evening after you get home, take some music with you and get outside and enjoy the benefits of it – you will find especially if you do it in the evening after work that it’s a good way to help you relax and wind down after a stressful day and you will get a better sleep because of it.
Swimming:
If you’re looking for a full body workout that’s also very low impact, meaning it has little risk of injury attached to it, then swimming is the perfect activity to get into.
Although it’s not free unless you own your own pool or have other means of being able to swim for free, then it’s something that’s a very low cost activity in most places and it’s something that because of how intensive it is because of how many muscles that it works at the same time you really don’t need to be doing it for a long time to notice results, so far example, you could easily do 20 minutes per day of swimming two to three times per week and really start to notice results after a short while.
