Shipping alcohol can be tricky, and it usually requires a signature. Also, there is more personal connection when you give the gift in person. It’s not the same as opening up a box delivered to you by the mailman.

Does your local area have a brewery or distillery? There are a lot of tasty, local options to make great gifts that have the added benefit of supporting your local businesses. Also, there’s a better chance that your recipient has never had one of the local creations. It makes your gift personalized, unique, and meaningful.
