What are the Different Types of Vapes?

If you are new to vaping, it might surprise you that there are a variety of vapes for each particular vaping substance and different vapes that cater to the same substance. You may not even know where to begin, because there are so many options. If you are unsure of which vape is best for you, here is a description of each of the major varieties:
Dry Herbs
Dry herb vapes can come in either a convection or conduction design.
The conduction design vaporizes the dry herb by allowing it to make contact with a heating element. Sometimes this means that you can end up with a nasty taste of ash due to the uneven heating. You can fix this by stirring the dry herb while vaping.
The convection design bakes the dry herb with heated air which makes the vapor for inhaling. The heat is evenly distributed just like in a convection oven, providing a higher-end vaping experience.
Oils
Oil or liquid vapes are the first generation vapes and are still a very popular option. Most are built for e-liquids that contain nicotine, though there are nicotine-free alternatives. You can also use THC or CBD oils with this vape.
There are two different types of oil vapes. There are the direct-to-lung, or DTL, and the mouth-to-lung, or MTL, variations. DTL types allow the vapor to stream directly to the lung from the device itself. The MTL types first draw the vapor into the mouth, where it is held for a moment, then it is inhaled.
Waxes
Most wax vapes are the same at their core, though some may have different features from others in this classification. Basically, the wax will be loaded onto heating coils directly in the heating chamber, which vaporizes the resin for inhaling.
You can actually get the best vapor from the wax vape by taking longer and smoother pulls, but smaller drags are better because of the potency of these wax concentrates. As you get more of a feel for the vape, you will find it easier to fill your lungs with the vapors accordingly.
Each type of vape pen is someone’s favorite, and by getting to know more about how they work, you can decide which is best for you. That said, you should spend quality time trying out each one to see which one you enjoy the most. That is really the only way to find out which one suits your tastes and lifestyle.
