How this has remained one of Europe’s less known and less visited countries is beyond us because it is one of the most beautiful places on earth, offering the kind of landscapes, lakes and castles that will have you believing in fairy tales again. It is a country speckled with sparkling rivers, mystical lakes, enchanted forests, enchanting castles sat atop of distant hills and charming little towns that make Paris look utterly mundane. The capital, Ljubljana is must-see thanks to landmarks like the Dragon Bridge, but so is the Tivoli park. Basically, a weekend won’t be enough time to do this place justice.
