i saw that you’ll wanted us to describe our best valentine day. i hope this is the spot.

my boyfriend pretended like he totally forgot what the day was. then latter that night he surprised me with takeout from my favorite restraunt at a cabin that he had rented for the night. the cabin was decked out. it was one of the best valentine days ever.

Last Valentine’s Day I really wanted to go have fun with my sweetie and go play some mini-golf. I got really sick though, and was so bummed out that we couldn’t go. He told me to go upstairs for awhile so I did, wondering what he was up to. When he called me back downstairs I was surprised to find our apartment converted to a mini-golf course creatively constructed from household items. We played mini-golf in the house for hours, it was the sweetest Valentine’s surprise ever!

My husband was deployed to Iraq, I was really bummed that VDay was going on. At work a man came in with a pink rose dipped in gold. My hubby had sent it from Iraq. My favorite color rose to keep forever :)

The best Valentine’s Day I ever had was when my husband (now) took me out for an amazing dinner, a trip to the movies, and then for a long walk in which he PROPOSED! It was absolutely amazing and now we have been married for almost 3 years now and together for almost 7!

  8. Stephanie Hirsch says:

My most romantic Vday was when my husband gave me a scavenger hunt of post it notes, with little roses, and rose petals all over. I ended in our room with a dozen roses and him all dressed up to take me out to dinner! It was awesome.

My best valentines day was when my boyfriend totally surprised me by taking the day of work without telling me and showing up at my house in the morning with roses, my favorite donuts from a local bakery, went to see a chick flick with me (even though I know he secretly hates them).

We have a late start in the morning, go out for a sumptuous Brunch midmorning where we take our time enjoying the food, conversation and each others company. We head over to the Spa in the afternoon for some serious pampering and later have dinner at our fave restaurant where we exchange gifts!

Last year I came home from work and and there were beautiful pink long stem roses waiting for me. I went to the bedroom and pink petals covered the bed, and on the bed were two brand new HOT PINK pillows, candy and balloons. I then got to watch as my amazing guy cooked me a lobster, shrimp and steak dinner with all the fixings in a chef outfit. One of my favorite pictures. It was the best Valentines ever. Pink is my favorite color, and it’s wonderful to be with someone who loves to make me happy. This was my first Valentine’s with the awesome man, after being in a relationship for many years with someone not very awesome at all. I’m blessed :) Good things do happen.
