5 Lobster Worthy Occasions We’re Celebrating This Year with Red Lobster’s New Dishes!
This year has been a pretty big year for us and while we’ve been ripping and running with work we really didn’t get much time to celebrate all those wonderful things. When I got the opportunity to work with Red Lobster on their #LobsterWorthy” promotion, it really felt perfect for me. Not only was I able to try out their new menu items, foodie heaven, but it also gives me a chance to share with you all what we’ve been up to! Check out our list of 5 Lobster Worthy Occasions!
1. I finished my book “The Pocket Sous Chef“
2. I spoke at my first conference “Build Your Blog Conference”
3. Your Life After 25 turned 4 this year!
4. We just launched Sports, Women & Beer! Our new brother site
5. I’m finally getting LASIK! Lol #NoMoreContactsandGlasses
To celebrate our Lobster Worthy moments we checked out Red Lobster‘s “Lobster Fest”, it only happens once a year and will only be going on for a limited time. During Lobster Fest you’re able to try a great variety of lobster dishes and specials. This year I was able to try the “Lobster Punch”, it was YUMMY… *must be 21+ to try it, lol*. This awesome limited edition specialty drink features Malibu Red, pineapple juice and mango passion fruit mix, topped with Myers’s Dark Rum. It usually comes served in a commemorative Red Lobster mason jar that is available for purchase, but when I went they had run out. So I made sure to put a pic below of what it’s supposed to look like, lol.
Thanks to the $100 gift card we received for this promotion, Dante and I truly feasted. We got our fill of Cheddar Biscuits… drool. While the decision was tough because of Lobster Fest options like the “Lobster Lover’s Dream®” which consists of a succulent rock lobster tail and sweet split Maine lobster tail, roasted and served with lobster-and-shrimp linguini Alfredo… yum or the “Dueling Lobster Tails”, two Maine lobster tails, one roasted and topped with tender shrimp in a creamy garlic sauce, the other golden-baked with crab-and-seafood stuffing. I ended up ordering the Ultimate Feast because… I NEEDED lobster, shrimp and crab legs LOL… Dante is a little tamer with his tastes but he was full by the time we finished. Even after my feast I opted to get some dessert so I topped it off with a delicious cheesecake… it was sooooo good.
In my family Red Lobster was always a place we celebrated great memories, from birthdays to graduations it’s been a staple. That’s why being a part of the Lobster Worthy campaign only seemed right! Thank you all for being a part of our success and journey, we look forward to more Lobster Worthy moments to come. We would love to hear about your “Lobster Worthy” moments.
