My tip is to regularly wash your face and avoid a lot of foundation.

    • So true, I try not to wear makeup whenever I can LOL… that way I look gussied up when I’m trying 😉

  • steve weber

My tip is to watch what you eat.. grease and fats cause nasty acne in the skin.

    • Great tip! Thanks for sharing. What we eat can impact so many things in our body.

  • Julie Wood

A good tip to help stop ance is to Sip Water. Increasing the amount of water you drink is a great way to flush out internal toxins and hydrate your skin from the inside out.

    • Thanks for sharing! I know drinking lots of water can be tough for so many.

  • Alison Tolar

My tip is to use a facial soap with activated charcoal. It really helps to draw out oil and make skin clearer.

    • Ahh, nice share. I may have to pick some up.

  • Barrie

I know it sounds silly and common sense but it’s important: wash your face twice a day and follow with a good toner.

    • Not silly at all! So many people forget to wash their faces more often LOL

  • Pamela Gurganus

A tip I have for dealing with acne is to not over wash your face/skin.

    • Interesting, do you mean frequency or how hard you’re washing?

  • Tiffanie

I try to moisturize daily, and I use a lot of natural remedies. My favorite is simply mixing honey and baking soda (or just plain ol’ honey), and I apply it to my face and let it sit for ten minutes. That works for me really well!

    • I love honey + baking soda. Have you tried doing a brown sugar scrub too?

      • Tiffanie

I actually haven’t tried that, it sounds heavenly though!!!

  • Tiffanie

Another tip for dealing with acne is eating healthy and drinking LOTS of water. I read an article somewhere (I can’t remember where it was!) that eating too much sugar can cause breakouts and blemishes.

  • Pamela Gurganus

A tip I have for dealing with acne is to use toothpaste on trouble spots.

  • Dorothy J Boucher

drink plenty of water and stay away from junk food

  • Tiffanie

I drink lots of water to stay acne free!!

  • Barrie

Use a gentle toner to remove excess oil.

  • Tiffanie

For me, I use scrubs a lot during the summer to remove excess dirt and buildup!

  • Tiffanie

I also fight acne by using sunscreen regularly!!!!

  • mohammad anjum

I drink lots of LIQUIDS to stay acne free

  • slehan

Haven’t had that problem, so no tips from me.
    Thanks for the contest.

  • The only tip I have for acne would be to just wait it out & leave it alone.

  • Tiffanie

Relaxation is important. Simple, yes. But nonetheless important! Stress can cause both weight gain AND breakouts!

  • slehan

    No acne, no tip.

  • Tiffanie

Moisturize daily and wash your face daily!!! In the summer there is dirt and sweat build up that you can’t even see!

  • Tiffanie

One good tip is to make sure that you are consist in removing your makeup everyday!!!! I read an article that said that if your sleep with your makeup, it makes your skin age faster.

  • Tiffanie

    Use toner!!!

  • Tiffanie

    Eat healthy!

  • Tiffanie

Be picky when your buying your face wash! Make sure your buying the right face wash for your skin type. So don’t buy some for dry skin if you have oily skin, etc!

  • Tiffanie

Eat organic, artificial preservatives and colorings can never help you!! Live Clean.

  • Tiffanie

Be adventurous, and try different facial treatments! I just tried a mud mask that I love!

  • slehan

    I’m glad that I don’t have a tip since I don’t need one.

  • Tiffanie

    Stay hydrated!

  • Betsy Barnes

My tip in dealing with acne, keep your fingers and hands away from your face.

  • slehan

No tips. Not had to deal with it.
