So… I love the holidays but this time of year also brings up a lot of germs and cooties, lol.  Since I work from home it’s really important that I have a personal wellness kit ready to go, it’s like preparing for immune system combat.  Some of you may know that I just celebrated a big birthday on December 2nd, another lovely year added to My Life After 25!  With that said, I’ve decided I need a much needed vacation so I’m planning a trip to spend time with family.  With travel in mind, I knew I needed to put together a travel friendly wellness kit.  I’ll be seeing my niece and nephew so I must come prepared, because we all know that while children are lovable they carry a ton of germs lol.

Now, we all know I’m a bargain shopper, if I can buy something for a good deal in bulk I will. That’s why Sam’s Club makes for the perfect place to shop, a club pack can last all season long. Plus, I know that I’m able to get great quality products at a great value. Sam’s Club offers a wide range of items that can help you with a variety of winter personal care needs. From dry skin and personal grooming, to fighting the flu. Since we want to help you all be prepared for the Winter season, check out what we like to put into our Winter Wellness Kit below.

Your Life After 25’s Winter Wellness Kit

  1. Emergen-C – This is such a must when you’re looking for a good immune system boost.
  2. ChapStick – If you’re like me, dry lips and cracked lips are such an issue during the winter. Although I try to stay hydrated it’s good to keep ChapStick on hand.
  3. Purely Instant Hand Sanitizer – A necessity for a recovering germaphobe like myself.
  4. Theraflu Day & Night Severe Cold – When I get sick Theraflu is one of my go to remedies, as a recovering insomniac the Night Severe Cold one is great because it puts me to bed while I heal.
  5. Body Wash – When thinking about preventing dry skin, it’s important to consider your Body wash also. Dove Winter Care Body Wash makes for a great option.
  6. Lotion for dry skin – Once you’ve used the right body wash, you have to follow it up with a great lotion. Sam’s Club has both Curel Ultra Healing Lotion and Jergens Ultra Healing Extra Dry Skin Moisturizer.  I personally prefer the Jergens.
  7. Abreva Cold Sore Treatment – If Cold sores trouble you, it’s a definite must to grab a good treatment and add that to your kit.
  8. A great pain reliever- I love that Sam’s Club carries Member’s Mark 500 mg Extra Strength Acetaminophen or if you prefer another option they also have Member’s Mark 200 mg Ibuprofen.

Another great thing to consider, especially around this holiday season, is the value of buying club packs of items rather than smaller sizes found in other retailers.  This allows for you t easily put together wellness kits that you can donate to local shelters, schools, or other great causes.

So, get yourself ready for this Winter season and start putting together you own Winter Wellness Kit at a Sam’s Club near you!
