The Bachelorette: Ashley & Ben Flash Dance, When Roasting Goes Bad and Bentley Goes Home!
Last week was intense on those first dates, but the next set of dates are here and Ben C. gets his solo, apparently Ashley thought it was a cool idea to take him on a date to do the flash mob dancing. I think it’s such a cool idea, I may have to try it myself, lol. Once Ben got into it he looked pretty good. As another surprise Far*East Movement made an appearance and performed for the crowd, after which the crowd chanted “Kiss, Kiss, Kiss” so Ben scored his first kiss with her. Later that night they get a bit more intimate and have dinner, Ben shares his romantic fantasies about love and marriage, he seems really sweet… in the end his sincerity earns him a rose. I thought it was really cute that he asked for another date, THAT’S how it’s done!
Blake, Ames, Ryan P., Ben F., Lucas, Nick, Bentley, William and Chris are up for the next date and it’s going to be one heck of a time as they become comedians and get to roast Ashely. When she arrives, the Creepy Mask Guy, Jeff decides this is his moment to reveal his face, lol…*cue dramatic music*…. he hasn’t been on a date with her but says he’s getting feelings for her? Kind of odd but he wasn’t half bad looking. Anyway once they all head off with the tutelage of comedian Jeffrey Ross, the guys get their jokes revved up and ready for their audience. It’s great to see the backend conversations because we get to see Williams’ mask come off as he see this as his career advancement opportunity… he also doesn’t seem to care about Ashley’s feelings at this point. So as the other guys take it light and grab a few laughs…. William decides to go all in by saying he was hoping for Emily or Chantal and makes Ashley cry. Sadly he didn’t console her, but Bentley takes the chance to put his grimy hands on her an swoop in and pretend to be charming. Later when the date progresses, William takes Ashley aside and with tears tells her he thinks it’s best for them both if he leaves… however, he doesn’t actually leave. I think that whole date idea was bad to begin with. Once he walks away, Ashely has a hard time continuing with the date… Meanwhile, she finally lets Bentley know she was given a heads up before the show about him having alterior motives, too bad she didn’t take heed… I was completely dreading all the words she was saying about falling for him. Especially watching him pack and say he’s not feeling her, what a slime ball. I can’t be sure is he’s being real or not but if this is really who he is then he’s a complete sadist and doesn’t deserve any more attention for his actions… they shouldn’t even bring him on the Men Tell All and no press should pay him any mind after tonight.
So he packs his bags, talks all this smack and then goes to her house and completely LIES about his reason for leaving. He asks her for a hug and then tells her he needs to leave because of his daughter. I was completely flabbergasted by his whole performance… I’m sure she needs a hug watching this again. This has GOT to be the worst Bachelorette season so far…
J.P. gets the next date but boy is that a sore deal… I mean he comes to her door and she still has tears residue in her eyes. It’s slightly unfair but it could be an advantage if he can console her. I think their date is one of the best, dinner and relaxation at home…. besides the camera crew in the background it’s realistic and natural. While they hang out in PJs Ashley give him a rose and they share a few smooches. I hope she just moves forward and recognizes things have happened for the better.
On the day of the ceremony Ashley shows up later, which leaves the men nervous. Chris Harrison takes a moment to pull her aside and try to make sure she is ok and talk some SENSE into her within the means of his contractual allowances of course, lol. Sadly for the other guys who may need some time with her, she’s decided to not have a cocktail party tonight… so… it’s straight to the cutting!
Who Did She Keep?
Constantine, West, Mickey, Ben F. Blake, Nick, Ames, Lucas, William
I think she made the right decision to keep William, I’m definitely not sure how this season will go for her though.
Who Do You Think She Should Choose?
