So you’re just getting out of school and headed out on the journey of ADULT life, real bills, real job and probably student loans… on Your Life After 25 we discuss a budgeting a great deal and making solid investments. For me personally one of the bigger issues I find when people are in a substantial amount of debt, excluding student loans, is that they try to live above their means.
In life there are 3-4 major purchases and investments we make:
For all of those major decisions or purchases it’s necessary to know your budget, plan ahead for the purchase or decision and also buy something for YOU and not to impress others.
Recently I’ve been looking at a few cars that I thought may be good for me or young adults who are just starting out on their career path. In my search I wanted to find something both affordable, stylish and STURDY!!! This led me to the Toyota Corolla, for many years I’ve been a big fan of Toyota in general because everyone I’ve known with one has been able to use theirs for many years. As a young adult that’s a quality that you will want in a car, because you will want to put your extra money towards other aspects of your life, or even to pay off those loans. Upon further research I was able to find some Toyota Corolla deals and incentives that let me know it’s definitely affordable and then the shape of the car is stylish so it met all the requirements on my checklist.
At the end of the day make sure you do some shopping around and have a checklist of your own for what YOU want and need. And, if you’re wanting to buy a house then it’s best to get that first before making a car purchase. I wish you all the best in your car search!, I’ll be posting more information on other suitable choices in the future.
