Our skin is very visible and reveals a lot about our age and overall health. There are many ways to accelerate the ageing process; but conversely, it is also possible to slow down the aging process, naturally, by ensuring you have a diet containing the right nutrients for your beautiful skin.

The reason that they are so good is because the nutrients that they contain in abundance are all useful to the skin at a molecular level, restoring and protecting your skin cells and helping them to function correctly.
Included are broccoli and peppers, both of which contain a significant amount of vitamin C. This antioxidant vitamin fights damaging molecules known as free radicals, and also helps the production of collagen. Collagen is the protein that breaks down with ageing, resulting in skin losing its elasticity and structure. It is therefore vital to assist the body to produce collagen as much as possible if you want to fight wrinkles and aging skin.
Other vitamins and minerals that our skin loves include vitamin E, vitamin A, selenium, zinc and Omega-3 fatty acids. Providing our skin with this nourishment with make it look healthy, but also function correctly, resulting in a healthier body too.
