The Swiffer Effect Showing Love To Homes and Pets Everywhere ASPCA
As many of you know I have furry family members who just steal my heart, lol. Between Hazel, Khloe and Ruby our latest addition to the family, pooch messes can be a handful. The funniest thing is that growing up, my siblings and I wanted a dog and our mother was SET against it because she thought they were messy lol… after all these years of having out furry family members, now our mother loves them more than us ;). With great cleaning products Swiffer makes, cleaning up after your pet is a snap. According to the Swiffer Cleaning Index, half of Americans say that concerns about pet hair and shedding in their home is one of the top reasons they worry about getting a pet, wouldn’t get a pet or don’t have one. More than one third (38 percent) of pet owners also say the leading source of “pet cleaning tensions†in their home is hair, dust bunnies and/or shedding. I’ve been a long time user of Swiffer products and was quite happy to do this post and give one of my friends a Swiffer surprise, because I knew she loves the products too! My friend Roya’l has 2 fur babies of her own and is one of the neatest people I know, lol.
It’s always great to be able to support a brand you love because it’s contributing to great causes. Swiffer® is supporting the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA) in a year-long effort to help find homes for animals in need and help make the challenges of cleaning up after a pet less of a concern after adoption.

Swiffer® will donate Big Green Boxes just like the one above to more than 100 shelters nationwide and gifted an estimated 7,000 pet adopters with a FREE Swiffer Sweeper during the ASPCA Mega-Match-A-Thon the weekend of October 17-19. How awesome is THAT?
For me, I’m able to use my Swiffer® duster to keep dander to a minimum, because I deal with allergies and still love the company of my pets. I also use my Swiffer® Wetjet like a maniac, lol… I can get a bit compulsive with cleaning but I always hated scrubbing my floors on hands and knees.
At the end of the day Swiffer® products are not just for pet owners, but it doesn’t hurt to help a great cause. Help us continue to spread the #SwifferEffect to pet owners… with the Big Green Box!
