Have you ever met someone and just clicked? That’s how I feel about my “Emergency Contact” and best friend Stefanie. Stef and I have been friends for almost 11 years, we met because she was one of my first blog readers lol. Since then, we’ve experiences love, breakups, children and many of life’s milestones together. Our sisterhood and connection is so strong that despite being states apart we still synch our monthly cycles and tend to get sick at the same times. If that isn’t a strong bond, I don’t know what is. Stefanie and I are constantly making jokes and sharing laughs, she’s truly one of the best people I’ve ever met. When I found out about Emergency Contact by Mary H.K. Choi, I was inspired by the fun and relatable story about friendships formed in unlikely places. With our digital age I think many of us make friends online that can develop into Emergency Contact types of bonds. It’s definitely a great read for people of all ages.
