San Andreas Movie Review
There are so many reasons why I wanted to check out this San Andreas movie; action, The Rock, wanting to see how this catastrophic event could unfold, etc. I will admit that while I love Dwayne Johnson “The Rock” sometimes his acting can come off a bit cheesy, so I hoped that those antics would be kept to a minimum. Other than that, I went in with a complete open mind so I could give you the feedback below. If you haven’t seen the trailer, check it out.

Here’s What I Thought About San Andreas
First thing is first, I thought this was The Rock’s best acting job… granted there were a few cheesy parts BUT I can’t blame him for what’s written in, lol. There was also a pretty good cast to support the movie; Carla Gugino, Alexandra Daddario, Ioan Gruffudd, Archie Panjabi, Hugo Johnstone Burt, Art Parkinson, and Paul Giamatti. Anyway, on to the grit of the movie, I’ve often wanted to move to California but after their current water crisis and watching San Andrea, I’m having second thoughts LOL. What makes this film so intriguing is that we know this can all happen. The film takes place across Nevada to California… and we’re able to see the gradual effects of what it may be like when the San Andreas Fault goes into action. San Andreas takes us on an emotional and mental journey as we face a reality of something we may see in our time. All I can say is, I hope scientists and the government have come up with a real contingency plan for when this happens… I recommend everyone checking it out, even if it’s just for that reason. San Andreas is sure to spark great conversation and provoke a lot of thought… I’d say it’s a great date night movie, something to check out with a bunch of friends or even something for the family.
