Think Like A Man – Movie Review By Da Vinci
I have been waiting to watch this movie since I saw the preview months back and I was quite disappointed when I wasn’t able to catch the premiere in Atlanta but ecstatic to be able to support on it’s opening weekend. Think Like A Man is based on comedian, actor and entrepreneur Steve Harvey’s best seller. With it’s all-star cast including big names like Michael Ealy, Gabrielle Union, Regina Hall, Kevin Hart, Taraji P. Henson, Terrence J, and more I wasn’t sure if it would live up to the hype BUT I’m extremely pleased to say the movie was much more than I anticipated. The movie was well written, directed and produced, thanks to such talent as Keith Merryman, David A. Newman, and Tim Story.
Without giving away too many details, because I WANT you all to go out and support this film, Think Like A Man is a battle of the sexes romantic comedy that teaches each gender lessons in love and also gives a bit of insight on what either side is thinking. Men and Women love each other but we tend to communicate so differently, which is why movies like this are necessary and so enjoyable. As each character takes their journey in finding or keeping love they learn a lot about themselves and their partners a long the way. The movie is full of laughs, EYE CANDY, and legitimately good relationship advice. I definitely recommend going with your spouse, significant other or even just for a good girls or boys night out… it’s not made for JUST women or just men it’s made for everyone to enjoy and learn from. I can see this movie being a great platform to open conversations among men and women about the current state of dating and relationships. I hope that it will help us all raise our standard and do better as a whole.
